Markfordrill respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users, partners, and content contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have adopted the following policy toward copyright infringement.

We reserve the right to:

  1. Remove or disable access to any content that we believe in good faith infringes the copyright of any third party.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

How We Handle DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Markfordrill may, at its sole discretion:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • Notify the user or content provider that the material has been removed.
  • Terminate the account or access of repeat infringers.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that the content you posted was removed or disabled in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its original location.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court in your district (or any judicial district in which Markfordrill operates, if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.

Restoration of Content

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complaining party.
Unless that party files a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
